Racetron's Bill Lyon designed the world's first sucessful racing intercom system 'back in the day' as a part of Racetron's Performance Technology line of electronics systems for motorsports. The first one was built for Scoop Vessels. Next came the Nissan factory off-road racing team of Roger Mears, Jack Johnson, Spencer Low and Sherman Balch, followed by Walker Evans' multi-car team. When word got out, demand went through the roof and a deal was made with a firm in Havasu to resell our intercoms to the general racing community and Racetron would provide all technical services.
Comzilla is the only manufacturer to use a fully isolated power supply for less alternator and ignition system noise. Comzilla is the only manufacturer to use active noise filtering on the 12 volt supply which senses and corrects any noise (alternator or ignition) 200,000 times per second - no other manufacturer has anything like it.
