Radian was formed in February, 2001, and is the result of a partnership between three strong elements – LeBLANC Ltd., BMS Communications Services, and Onex Corporation.The tenure and success of LeBLANC and BMS since 1962 provide Radian with a solid history. Onex joined these market leaders to provide the financial stability necessary for deployment of the largest infrastructure projects and to ensure further expansion.In the early years, the focus was on the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of towers for the telecommunication and broadcast industries. In the 1980's there was great demand for highly trained technical experts in microwave transmission and power systems. Radian filled this void in support of its customers' changing needs. With the explosion in wireless telecommunications, Radian developed key areas of expertise and participated in the massive build-outs of the wireless carriers. Deregulation in the wireline telecommunications industry spurred Radian to develop competitive options for the voice, data, and video markets.
