On June 1, 2003, our journey began in Ben Lomond a small town in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California. The goal of the trip was to travel to Inuvik a small town in the Mackenzie River Valley of the Northwest Territories and to view the midnight sun on the day of the summer solstice.
