His dedication to domestic violence and ensuring safety for all survivors throughout the years is commendable.

Girija Sankar is an International Development professional with over eight years of experience in grant writing, proposal development, health and development program design, donor relations and staff capacity development. She grew up in Chennai, India and earned a Master of Science degree in International Economics from the Madras School of Economics. She moved to Atlanta in 2003 to pursue further graduate studies in Sociology at Emory.

Raksha Inc., whose mission is to promote a stronger and healthier community through free and confidential support services, education and advocacy is seeking a Multi-lingual Coordinator for a Culturally Specific Sexual Assault Survivors Program. This position will be responsible for designing a program aimed at addressing Sexual Assault in the South Asian community and providing outreach and advocacy services.
