Jim is a Wyoming native. His training and experience in the U.S. Navy allowed him to obtain a position as an Electrical Engineer with Raytheon Service Company, providing technical services to the Applied Physics Laboratory at the University of Washington. Jim’s first position at NHLC was Hospital Construction Liaison. In 2010 he accepted the position of Facilities Manager, and is now the Facility Director.
Dr. Edward Metz is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has been practicing medicine for over 35 years. He is a graduate of the Community General Osteopathic program in Harrisburg, PA. Dr. Metz Served in the Army National Guard from 1958 to 1964 and has continued to remain active in the National Guard Medical Corps with the current rank of Colonel. He has also been a guest speaker around the country and served as a consulting physician for various companies in the mining and oil industries. He currently works in the Rawhide Rural Health Clinic as a primary care provider.
NHLC is in the process of implementing an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) System from CPSI. CPSI is a leading provider of healthcare information solutions for community hospitals, with more than 650 client hospitals in 47 states. CPSI EMR is certified as a complete electronic health record system.
