Recology Del Norte provides trash, recycling and brush service. We have been servicing Del Norte County since 1989. With a combined service knowledge of over 100 years, more than half of our employees have lived in Del Norte County since their early childhood. We are committed to serve, innovate and educate, while meeting the needs of our employees and community, and providing superior customer service. Our goal at Recology Del Norte is to reduce the amount of trash going to landfills. Our company has grown with the community's changes and needs, and continues to strive in seeking out new ways, types and procedures of reducing, reusing and recycling trash, and to provide the best service available. Part of our attention is to provide programs that make recycling easy and convenient for our customers. Recycling is something we can all participate in daily that directly benefits the environment. Working together we can help keep Del Norte clean and be highly effective in helping to protect Del Norte County's amazing natural environment.

Place carts curbside in the street for service by 6 am on your weekly service day, with the wheels against the curb and the arrows on the lid pointed toward the street. Space your carts approximately 3 feet apart. Make sure the lids of your carts are closed and your cart is not over full, to prevent material from falling out as it is serviced. If you live on a street without a curb, place the carts on the roadside, 3 feet apart, and facing toward the street. Please do not bungee or tie your lids closed. Doing so will prevent your cart from being serviced. Recology Del Norte is excited to provide a better way of providing your Recycle, and Trash services. We have also added an optional Brush Collection service to help you manage your yard trimmings. Our program has been designed to make things easier for you and healthier for everyone's environment. We hope they encourage you to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle! And Remember: All holiday collection will be scheduled one day later then your normal collection day when the holiday falls on a week day.
