Recon Recycling is a full service recycling company that provides waste diversion and recycling programs for multi-family dwellings, offices, restaurants, bars, retail spaces, manufacturers, tradesmen, and special events. Our team brings a unique perspective and skill set to meet the needs of our diverse client base. To ensure the success of our clients, Recon also provides educational materials, on-site training, sustainability consulting and pro gram refinement to optimize the waste stream for cost savings.

Richard started Recon Recycling, LLC in 2007 with no capital, finding everything he needed from the waste stream. Having learned the basics of recycling from homeless veterans coupled with utilizing guerrilla military tactics developed in the Marine Corps Special Forces, Richard leveraged this insight and studied the industry from the ground up. He envisions a customized process of providing recycling services. As a disabled combat veteran, Richard's expansion plan is to open multiple recycling hubs throughout the region, recruiting Veterans. "Veterans are perfect for this industry.
