20 Years RECON is celebrating 20 years of excellence. RECON was founded in 1989, in response to the growing need of hazardous waste remediation. Bureau of Land Management Award In September, RECON was recognized as part of the team that allowed El Paso Corporation to win the “Hardrock Mineral Environmental Award”. This award, given by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to companies that have an exceptional track record of meeting or exceeding Federal, State and/or local reclamation requirements. BENCOR-RECON Joint Venture worth $93,252,000 RECON, in partnership with Bencor Corporation of Dallas Texas, was recently awarded a contract from the United States Army Corps of Engineers – Little Rock District in excess of $93,000,000.
