Description
The knowledge of how to successfully navigate the collegiate sports recruitment process is currently pocketed in specific areas of the country or housed behind expensive, inaccessible offerings. The idea of Recruit Kit was born with the hopes of making the information required to have a successful recruitment process available to prospective collegiate athletes everywhere. To get recruited to play a sport in college, being a standout athlete is only half the battle. You need to understand how the recruiting process works and what you need to do to make the best case for yourself to a college coach. From our conversations with college coaches, they want to hear directly from you, not a third-party platform. In order to get recruited to play at an elite institution, you have to take a proactive role in your college recruiting process. Attending college camps and special showcases is an imperative step in the college recruiting process. However, camps can be expensive and time-consuming to participate in. That’s why we recommend that you attend the camps for your top three choice schools. This will allow you to maximize the impact of your time and money without putting all of your eggs in one basket. Additionally, camps generally have coaches from more than one school in attendance, so sometimes you can cover two or more target schools in a single camp.
