FUEL SURCHARGE The Waste-Away Group is committed to providing quality service at the best possible value. Our industry is trucking intensive and fuel is a large component of our cost. Due to the recent surge in diesel prices we have implemented a fuel adjustment on our invoices. We utilize the US Department of Energy Midwest Region diesel price index to figure our adjustment percentage. Our base diesel cost is $3.50 per gallon and now that diesel has risen above our base cost, the fuel surcharge has been applied.
