For 35 years, we have been dedicated to promoting the richness and diversity of Native American art and cultures. For the past two years the Red Earth Education Commitee has worked with educators from throughout Oklahoma to develop grade appropriate lessons that focus on STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and math). We are now expanding that opportunity.

Please consider becoming a part of our team by developing lessons and activities that will engage school children. Not only will we provide you with professional development credit, you will receive professional recognition for your contribution.

Red Earth staff and consultants will work with an advisory team of educators, librarians and other leaders in community learning to develop content from existing Red Earth resources. The REACH Advisory Team will design and develop the curriculum for presentation in the Museum kiosks and available through Red Earth’s website. Content likely to be included in the project includes the 2007 Red Earth Centennial Exhibit, the Guardian & the Shield, Native American Dance, Art, Music, Food and Life Ways and Tribal Government.
