Established nearly a decade ago, RHP is in the business of the arts, making all the necessary connections that can bring the world of the artist and the world of business together. While the artists, whatever their fields of endeavor, do what they do best, Red Hot Promotions is busy doing what it does best; scheduling the media interviews, setting up the CD/DVD release party, providing the venue for the concert or the film screening. RHP does all the things the artists don't have time to do but still need to be done. More importantly, Red Hot Promotions recognizes the needs of each and every artist they represent are unique. Working one-on-one with each of their clients RHP customizes its efforts to give their artists the perfect promotional fit. THE TEAM... NANCY LEWIS Founder Nancy Lewis began her career in 1986 with The Music People, Incorporated as head of Marketing and Promotion. She was a media buyer for radio and print outlets as well as an organizer for promotional events in-store appearances and record release parties. Her work earned her platinum and gold records commemorating her contributions to the record sales of such artists as Tina Turner, Grateful Dead, Janet Jackson, Bobby Brown, MC Hammer, Tom Petty, Bon Jovi, Sinead O'Connor, Billy Idol, Paula Abdul, Freddie Jackson, Fine Young Cannibals and Maxi Priest. She founded Red Hot Promotions to provide independent marketing and promotion for artists and record labels. Her early clients included Cajun Rocker, Zachary Richard and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Hank Ballard. In addition to working with main-stream artists she began an association with Native Americans, collaborating with activist/artist Dennis Banks and producer/drummer Narada Michael Walden on the recording of Still Strong which later was included on a Real World Records anniversary compilation CD. Working with The Marketing Union of Belgrade, she helped coordinate the benefit concert Performance for Peace. Lewis then teamed with OPM Records to release and market recordings by San Francisco's own R&B band Pride & Joy and Denver blues artist Sammy Mayfield. In 2005 Nancy strengthened her ties with the Native American community and over the next three years organized several concert events for the Nowa Cumig Institute, a non-profit organization supporting education and youth programs. After hosting a pair of fundraisers in November 2006 at StudioZ in San Francisco and Sweetwater in Mill Valley, Nancy was instrumental in the organization of both the Longest Walk 2 Benefit Concert at the Fillmore (Nov. 2007) and a two-day concert at The Mall in Washington D.C. (July 2008). Jason Blaine RHP founder Nancy Lewis is pleased to announce the addition of respected music executive Jason Blaine to the company's management team. A long-time presence in the San Francisco music scene, Jason is the founder and owner of the Music People Inc, OPM Records and In-A-Minute records, with years of executive experience in marketing and distribution.
