Peter Dreyer has been a professional photographer for over 35 years. Many of his photos are created with special effects, all of which he achieves in a traditional darkroom. The photograph seen here is a photogram. These are created by placing an object, a leaf in this case, on photographic paper and then exposing the paper as it would normally be done. The object that is placed on the paper creates a white silhouette. Other special effects that Peter incorporates include reflecting objects back on themselves in the photo and zooming in on specific parts of the object that he is photographing.
