Pelleted lab animal diets- The BioDAQ hoppers will accommodate most pelleted lab animal diets. Research Diets standard size 1/2 in. pelleted purified diets and grain based products from other manufacturers are compatible. When working with crumbly or high fat diets it is recommended that you use the extended hopper design to capture excessive spillage.

Research Diets will incorporate test compounds into pelleted micro batches as small as 200 grams for those compounds that are in limited supply. Our production facility is well equipped to pellet small batches at precise doses.
