BRICKSTONE STUDIOS, originating in Lincoln Nebraska, has been in business since 1994. The founder, Tim Watson, combined his experience and training as an artist with that of the bricklaying and stone mason industries. His vision for creating works of art in the medium of brick has surpassed all expectations! Brickstone Studios has been responsible for many nationally recognized commissions, ranging from memorials to sculpted historical interpretations.As early as 1994, BRICKSTONE STUDIOS began using glass fiber reinforced concrete, better known as GFRC. GFRC added the capabilities of a carved or cast appearance for less cost, less weight, and more flexibility than many natural stones. GFRC is now used successfully in most of our products. The compliment of brick and GFRC was very attractive and popular in 1994 and has proven even more popular in construction art today.BRICKSTONE STUDIOS began operations in Lincoln Nebraska. In 1999, Brickstone Studios opened a new manufacturing plant and a beautiful 2,000 square foot showroom in Norfolk, Virginia, thus becoming the new center of operations. Brickstone Lincoln continues full operation, complementing our strategic and creative growth patterns. Tim is ever so busy dodging between the two facilities ensuring that the highest quality standards are maintained.
