Resource Engineering, Inc., is a full-service water resource consulting firm. Our interdisciplinary team has expertise in hydrology, water rights and civil engineering. We provide services to clients of all sizes in both the public and private sector.

Resource Engineering, Inc. is a water resources engineering company located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The Company is headquartered in the administrative center for both the State of Colorado's Water Division 5 and the White River National Forest. We have been extensively involved in water supply planning and water resource investigations in Colorado since 1975. Our staff includes professionals with expertise in water resource engineering, water right analyses, mountain hydrology, water quality investigations, water supply planning and GIS/GPS technology.

One old adage states, "From Experience Comes Expertise." With over 60 years of design engineering experience, RESOURCE has provided engineering services for a wide variety of projects. In addition to planning and design, RESOURCE has assisted many clients with bid acquisition and construction observation services. RESOURCE has established an excellent reputation in the industry and brings our clients an image of quality and dependability. Technical expertise, a common sense approach and a wealth of experience have lead to successful projects and satisfied clients.

RESOURCE has extensive experience with Colorado Water Rights and has assisted hundreds of clients to appropriate or acquire water rights sufficient to provide a dependable supply for their needs. This may involve a complex strategy to acquire and transfer senior water rights to the proposed place of use. Alternatively, it may require development of a plan to mitigate, or offset, the impact of a client's new water right. The mitigation procedures are implemented through a water right plan for augmentation.

Resource Engineering (RESOURCE) has worked with Breckenridge Ski Resort (Breckenridge) on a wide variety of water resource projects since 1982. The services provided by RESOURCE during this time include ground and surface water hydrology analyses, wetlands analysis, water quality monitoring and analysis, preparation of environmental review documents (e.g. Environmental Impact Statements), water rights, and geographic information system (GIS) database management. The projects completed in each of these general areas are discussed in more detail below.
