Resource is a Minnesota Service Cooperative, one of nine such regional service organizations in the state. As a nonprofit public corporation and member driven organization, Resource provides support, services and solutions that contribute to our members success. Resource Training & Solutions started in 1976 as a small two-person office in south St. Cloud known as the Central Minnesota ECSU (Educational Cooperative Service Unit). The organization was formed through legislation to serve Pre K-12 Education (M.S. 123 A.21). In 1985, the Board of Directors hired Dr. Robert C.

Midwest Technology Products is a family owned business that specializes in the resell of Industrial Arts, Vocational and Technology equipment and supplies to educators throughout the world. They are a woman-owned minority business that has focused on customer service for over 100 years.

Technologies Direct is a full service technology reseller providing access to cutting edge technology that is cost effective and project specific. They offer an extensive range of products including desktop computers, notebooks, printers, servers, storage devices, and software from a wide variety of manufacturers. Combined with their broad product offering is a strategy tailored to each client.

In short, we provide high quality insurance to public servants while keeping costs down. It’s called economies of scale. The more you have of something, the lower the price per unit. If cities, counties and school districts all arranged their own health insurance, the cost per employee would be much higher than it is now. By pooling their employees with those of other agencies, school districts, cities, counties and others are able to keep their costs down. We manage the health insurance pool.
