Description
It was back in 1991 that Mark Gibson decided there should be more of a choice in home delivery than was currently provided by a couple of fast food pizza makers and Restaurant Express was born. Founded as Galloping Gourmet, the name was changed to better represent the wide variety of cuisine that was soon available for delivery from the Palm Springs Resorts favorite restaurants.Gibson, a big delivery customer, used his experience as a student growing up in the restaurant business as a cook, waiter and manager, and later experience with marketing television, radio, public relations and with full service advertising firms to create what has become the Desert's #1 restaurant delivery venue.Debrah Herz joined the Restaurant Express team in 1995 as Director of Operations, bringing a diverse background and experience in customer service and retail management. Her expertise in training and customer satisfaction evaluation ensure that Restaurant Express customers receive the outstanding service they deserve.
