Retrieval Systems Corporation [RSC] is an experienced Data Architect and Information Management company, specializing in content, document, and information management services. We design, develop, and implement solutions involving SGML and XML, along with related web technologies, standards and tools. Publishers, law firms, and US government agencies are among our clients.RSC has particular expertise in the development of content management solutions (CMS). We developed XML and SGML based content management systems for several clients. RSC's CMS toolkit provides a foundation for CMS development using JAVA to provide platform independence and using any RDBMS for data management. Our solutions provide document and sub-document editing, data import and export, workflow management, version control and topic/knowledge management in conformance with the Topic Maps standard. Our solutions use web technologies to enable remote (internet) and local (intranet) work. Our knowledge management tools allow management and integration of topic maps into the content management paradigm.RSC is particularly skilled in architecting and developing client-server solutions. Senior members of RSC's staff have been pioneers in developing full text automated research engines, as well as developing and using automatic document generation (document assembly) engines and user interfaces.
