One of the first things many of our customers want to know is, "Where did we come up with the name REVOLVO West?" Many years ago, in the winter of 1978, I broke down in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia while driving my 1961 VOLVO 544 across the country. The gracious people who took me in, David A. and Barbara, had a 1963 VOLVO P1800 buried beneath 2 feet of snow. They told me how they had rebuilt that car so many times while they were in college that they named it "Revolvo." That year, I began working on Volvos fulltime, and out of respect and appreciation, named my automobile business after their trusty VOLVO sportscar.
