RH2 Engineering is a mid-sized engineering firm specializing in utility and infrastructure work for municipal clients throughout the Pacific Northwest. Founded in 1978, RH2 now has 100 professionals in nine offices throughout Washington and Oregon. Richard is Chief Executive Officer of RH2. Since 1969, Richard has worked with municipal utilities and public works clients across Washington State. Richard obtained his Washington Professional Engineers license in 1977 and founded RH2 in 1978.

Through his years of experience working with a variety of clients, reviewing agencies and climates, Rick has developed the ability to rapidly assess existing conditions and adapt project needs to specific environments and develop cost-effective solutions. Rick’s cogent design solutions, coupled with his thoughtful and thorough coordination efforts and project management skills, have resulted in successful projects that are well-received by clients, communities, contractors, and reviewing agencies alike.

Rick has been working in the municipal engineering business for more than 25 years and has a diverse background in all aspects of the design and implementation of water, wastewater, drainage, and street improvement projects. Rick has completed engineering projects in five western states and spent the past 17 years working with a variety of RH2 clients across Washington State.

For over 35 years, RH2 has delivered very exceptional projects to clients in the Pacific Northwest by providing civil engineering, planning, and environmental services.
