Richard Butler delivers regular lectures and training courses on contract, tort, landlord & tenant and dispute resolution topics at many leading City of London and regional law firms and has delivered courses in the United States, China, Africa and in several European countries. Formerly Head of corporate and banking litigation at Norton Rose, he is now Visiting Professor of Dispute Resolution at Nottingham Law School and a freelance trainer and training consultant. Richard Butler is a Chartered Arbitrator and conducts arbitrations in real estate disputes. Past arbitrations include determination of completion disputes and the interpretation of leases, both in a domestic and an international setting
