Description

Even for a seasoned marketer like Jeremy Gonzalez, the Marketing Director role at Ride the Ducks is unique. In any given week, he is managing seven social media platforms, working with bloggers and media outlets and curating content to share the story of Ride the Ducks of Seattle. He loves working with an iconic brand that is quirky, fun and easy to love. At the Ducks, he doesn’t just manage our branding, but he is also the buyer for our gift shop. When asked how he chooses new items, “It has to be cooler than Mr. T Duck (link)! I didn’t even know they made these!” With more than fifteen years as an independent marketing and media consultant, Jeremy brings a wealth of experience to Ride the Ducks. Jeremy has been successful in radio, publishing, digital and newspaper, so he is well versed in all things media. He is most proud of being part of the team to launch a New York Times best-selling children’s book and hosting a nationally-syndicated radio show for more than five years. Jeremy loves creating eye-catching photos and video with Photoshop, Final Cut Studio, Adobe Audition and is thrilled to finally be able to put all his passion and focus into one brand.

Ihlae plays an integral role on our leadership team and assists our Director of Finance and Marketing on a daily basis, including coordinating our social media and marketing efforts, working with groups and booking events, and keeping our corporate office well organized and running efficiently. On any given day, Ihlae has her hands in numerous projects and is always willing to take on more. What she loves most about Ride the Ducks is the company culture; she truly loves coming to work every day. When not in the office, Ihlae loves hanging out in Ballard, taking her dog on hikes, cheering on the Seattle Sounders and eating her way through Seattle’s delicious culinary scene.

We’ve grown rapidly, adding at least one Duck each year and quickly expanding our fleet. Today, we own and operate 20 amphibious Ducks and have the newest fleet of amphibious DUKWs in the nation.
