Baker, P.G. is the founder, managing member, and principal consultant for RMBAKER LLC, and is a licensed professional geologist in Florida . Mr. Baker received a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from Northeastern University in 1992, and a Master of Science degree in geology from the University of Florida in 1997. Mr. Baker ’s graduate research focused on processes of karstification in Florida 's deeply buried "Boulder Zone" limestones, with emphasis on the use of natural isotopes as indicators of past water-rock geochemical interactions. Since 1995, Mr. Baker has specialized in the characterization of Florida 's varied geological settings, with several years of international experience with coastal geology studies in Brazil and Ecuador . He is an authority in the use of non-invasive surface geophysical methods such as GPR and ERI, particularly in Florida ’s heavily karstified geologic settings. Mr. Baker has considerable experience with the sensitivities associated with insurance investigations of sinkholes in Florida . He is an expert in the techniques and methodologies for the identification of sinkhole related conditions, particularly as they relate to ground subsidence studies for residential or commercial properties. Mr. Baker is an experienced well logger with a full suite of logging tools and equipment. He has logged open and cased boreholes for water resource, monitoring, research and abandonment projects. Mr. Baker has expertise in the evaluation of potential mineral resources as part of a comprehensive regional study.
