Joel Whiteman is the Vice President of Operations for Road Ready, Inc.. Road Ready is a growing company focused on improving the health and wellness of truck drivers through comprehensive DOT medical exams and software which collects and tracks all DOT medical exam information and assist in the management of the DOT medical exam process for the carrier. Prior to his current position with Road Ready Inc., Joel Whiteman was employed with JB Hunt for 6 years and worked in the areas of Safety and Workers’ Comp.

Dan has been a private practicing physical therapist for over 35 years. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and the Mayo Clinic School of Physical Therapy. He has served as a Regional Director for the Arthritis Foundation and in various roles with the state APTA. Since 2000 he has worked as a consultant in work injury prevention with several companies, including those in the transportation industry. He has conducted a variety of continuing education courses for physical therapist and other health professionals. He is founder and president of Road Ready, Inc.

Our mission is to provide accurate health history information to both DOT examiners and transportation companies so that they can make better decisions regarding driver health and driver safety.

Road Ready knows that the more information electronically obtained facilitates the examination process, but is essential piece of a company wellness intervention plan. Many larger companies are working with insurance companies in setting up wellness programs today. The medical information collected during the DOT examination process in Road Ready is used to help companies tailor a wellness program that directly benefits the company insurance premiums.
