Description
Robert J. Pinizzotto, Esquire was born and raised in Hammonton, New Jersey where he maintains his practice of law. Graduating from Rutgers in 1980, Bob then attended the University of Dayton School of Law where he earned a Juris Doctorate degree in 1983. Bob became licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1983 and thereafter became licensed to practice law in the State of Maine in 1992. Upon graduation from law school, Bob was employed as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Rudolph J. Rossetti, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Camden County. The clerkship ended in 1984 and, until 1988, Bob was employed by two general practice law firms in South Jersey. In April of 1988, Bob opened his law practice at 105 North White Horse Pike in Hammonton, New Jersey and has maintained that office for 22 years at the same location. Bob became law partners with Ralph B. Hill, III, Esquire in January of 2005 and the firm became known as Pinizzotto~Hill, L.L.C. Bob has always maintained a very active general practice law office handling many types of matters including municipal court, personal injury, criminal and family actions. In addition, his office also handles wills, real estate and contract actions. Bob handles many personal injury matters personally, but when need be, he does work with other attorneys that have special and significant experience and skill in certain catastrophic injury matters such as traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, medical malpractice and other significant and permanent personal injury cases. But Bob's special area of experience has always been municipal court matters including motor vehicle violations, disorderly persons' offenses and of particular note, DWI/DUI, driving under the influence of alcohol of drugs. As a result of Bob being a municipal court prosecutor in various jurisdictions almost his entire legal career, he has handled thousands of DWI/DUI's and hundreds of thousand motor vehicle violations. He was the Founding member of the N.J. State Municipal Prosecutors' Association ("NJSMPA") and was the NJSMPA's President for 4 years. Bob is an NJSMPA Certified Municipal Court Prosecutor. Bob began training municipal court prosecutors through the NJSMPA and he continues to offer training seminars to prosecutors, defense attorneys and police officers on numerous and varied subjects. With Bob's training and experience, his contacts with various experts in the field, and his understanding of the process, he offers all his clients the very best defense that he can provide in municipal court. Bob believes that just because someone has a "municipal court" matter and it appears to be a "minor" infraction, no one should take the consequences for granted. The municipal court system in the State of New Jersey has revenues that exceed $500 Billion Dollars a year from fines, costs and surcharges. Tens of thousands of people have their driver's licenses suspended as well. Bob maintains that matters with serious financial penalties deserve serious legal defense and he is that serious legal defense.
