The SBTDC is a business development service of The University of North Carolina system. We provide management counseling and educational services to small and mid-sized businesses in all of North Carolina’s 100 counties. We help established firms, high-growth companies, and start-up businesses meet today’s challenges, manage change, and plan for the future. Our primary focus is management counseling, addressing issues including financing, marketing, human resources, operations, business planning, and feasibility assessment.

We provide a number of different marketing opportunities for our members. Some are long standing winners, others are new efforts we have recently launched and some are in the pilot stage of development. All together we have focused on developing opportunities that would complement your existing marketing strategies.

Fall Outing (September) Every Chamber must have it’s fun and this particular event is purely about celebrating life in the Tar River Region. Typically we have over 600 people gathered together enjoying food, beverage and live entertainment. If you are into the social scene or need to meet and greet with our business community, this event will surely accomplish that.

If your company will be employing three or more employees; you will be required to provide workers compensation coverage.

The NorthEastern Entrepreneurial Roundtable is a private, non-profit organization composed of entrepreneurial companies; service professionals; investors and financial institutions as well as public and private sector non-profit organizations.
