The Job Training Alliance is a network of Boston training, education and community-based organizations comprised of workforce development professionals dedicated to delivering quality work and life management skills training, education and job placement services to individuals seeking to develop careers and successfully transition into the workforce.

BOARD VETERAN JOHN CUPPLES RECEIVES MASS AGING’S BOARD LEADERSHIP AWARD, 2009 John Cupples has served on the Rogerson Communities Board of Trustee for over 25 years. His strong leadership derives from dedication, work and sacrifice. He has served on many committees over his 25 years. John was Chair of the Board during their most dramatic growth period for Rogerson where they doubled in size.

Rogerson Communities has been providing housing and healthcare solutions for those most in need since 1860. We manage 26 programs and properties in the Greater Boston area. While our events can be as versatile as a ribbon cutting in Roslindale and a Kindermusic program in Jamaica Plain, our mission to provide exceptional care never changes.

MINORITY AND WOMEN BUSINESS UTILIZATION ACKNOWLEDGEMENT; 2009 MassHousing acknowledged Rogerson Communities’ dedication to working with and hiring minority and women vendors and individuals again this October. Rogerson Communities met or exceeded the management goals set by MassHousing for working with Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE). Rogerson Communities won an award for excellence for the highest WBE percentage achievement In Linkage Area II.

History Rogerson Communities was founded in 1860 in Boston as the “Home for Aged Men,” the first privately supported home in the area for “respectable aged and indigent men.” Since 1978, Rogerson Communities has evolved from a single retirement home for older men to a network of innovative, accessible, affordable housing and services for elders, persons with disabilities, and the working poor in the Greater Boston area.
