Truth is, I have been advising Americans for over 40 years to stay out of the border towns at night. Now it is not safe to visit Juarez even in daylight hours. All along our border with Mexico, there collects an assortment of criminals looking for an opportunity to take advantage of a crippled chicken (gringo). It has always been that way and it will continue to be that way. DON'T VISIT BORDER TOWNS.!!!!!!!!!!!

Picachos Bass Lodge, is located right at the water's edge of the lake and near the small town of Puerta de San Marcos. The lodge and it's location is truly an Oasis with the look and feel of a mini resort in Paradise. Picachos Bass Lodge is the closest and easiest access to the lake from Mazatlan. The view of Picachos from the lodge, which is located high on a bluff overlooking the main part of the lake, is absolutely breathtaking! Picachos Bass Lodge "currently" consists of 10 houses for lodging a maximum of 20 anglers at a time.

Our clients stay in a small, quaint lodge which is reflective of the true "Old Mexico." The camp consists of four houses that contain four completely private, air-conditioned spacious bedrooms, plus ceiling fans to assure your comfort. Purified bottled water is furnished in each house, and is completely safe to drink. After a great day of Mexico bass fishing , you are welcomed to the camp with complimentary margaritas and hors d'oeuvres delivered directly to your room. The wonderful menu consists of a variety of foods.

We specialize in great personal service! We do the work and let you have all the fun! Lodge capacity is only 26 people, so advance reservations are an absolute must!
