The Ronan Family - 1912 to 1980 Ronan Mortuary was founded in 1912 at 714 S. Division by Peter Ronan. Nicholas Ronan joined his brother, Peter, in 1914, and became the Ronan Brothers Funeral Home from 1916-1919. In 1919 Peter gained sole ownership and relocated in 1920 to 1168 Madison Ave. In 1929 the location was changed again to 814 Jefferson where Edwin N. Ronan joined his father in 1935. Edwin purchased the building on the corner of Madison and Dickinson SE in 1953. Mr. Ronan passed away in 1980.allowing us to keep costs down, without cutting corners on service. W e have done this in order to Provide Families with Quality Service at an Affordable Price.
