To do this, we've built relationships with select farmers in South America over many years. We source directly from these farms, which means fresher and longer-lasting flowers. Frequent visits to the farms allows us to assure quality control, to learn about new production techniques and to understand the total life span of our product. We also ship each order directly to you or to that special person in order to assure the buyer and the recipient that we are giving our maximum attention to each order. We will never use a floral wire service. This means ensuring safe, fair and supportive working conditions. Why the Focus on Rosesè? In 1997, Mark visited a rose farm in the lush savannah of Bogota, Colombia. It was there surrounded by 37 acres of roses that he became fascinated with their beauty and the business of producing them. As the world's largest producer of roses, Colombia was the perfect place to learn about the flower business.
