I was honored to attend my first NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction) Annual Planning Conference this past weekend, October 19th & 20th. NAWIC is an international association founded in 1953 that promotes and supports the advancement and employment of women in the construction industry. NAWIC’s core purpose is to unite and enhance the success of women in various phases of the industry through education, professional development and fellowship. The Dallas chapter is extremely active in supporting several local charities.
