Corporate A more memorable event that the standard golf course outing, a day in a racecar allows corporations to entertain their clients in a way that really sets them apart from their competition. In today’s competitive business atmosphere, corporations need to find unique methods of keeping and winning new business and nothing beats the racecar experience. The RotaryRockets organization works closely with car clubs, corporations and other organizations to design programs that specifically meet the needs of the client. A day at the racetrack may not only include the racecar experience, but can also incorporate on-site meetings, presentations and introduction of new products, services and programs. A sample of programs: Superstop and Coca-Cola Program Description: RotaryRockets hosted a one-day lapping event at the beautiful and Grattan Raceway, just outside of Grand Rapids, MI. What was challenging was that most of the drivers had experience driving stock cars at various schools, but never turned right in a race car. The day started out with the standard shifting and braking exercises and, to everyone’s amazement, quickly turned into fast laps around this tricky racetrack. The drivers had a wonderful time and realized that there was more to turning left! Corporate Perspective: Superstop has almost sixty (60) locations throughout Mississippi and Alabama. Superstop represents a solid brand of high end convenience stores with many co-located with Conoco gas stations. Mr. Doug Dewese and Mr. Tim Putnam are the principals of Superstop and have arranged many stock car racing programs for their dealers, suppliers and business affiliates. A quick call to our office resulted in both Doug and Tim participating in one of our regular racing programs. They both had so much fun that they organized an entire group for a great one-day event at the fabulous Grattan raceway. West Kern Machinery/John Deere Program Description: RotaryRockets hosted a half-day lapping event at the Buttonwillow raceway, just outside of Bakersfield, CA. Many drivers were new to racing so our instructors provided instruction to help them get acquainted with shifting, braking and techniques of going faster each session. The day started off with the novice drivers going out for van drives, followed by pacecar activities. Once the novices were comfortable on the smaller track, we opened up the entire three mile course and the speed and fun quickly ramped up. The more experienced drivers helped with coaching and this made for a fabulous raceday.
