The Rothman Institute is affiliated with Hospitals consisting of state-of-the-art facilities befitting world-class orthopaedic centers. Everything, from clinical and surgical centers, a fully equipped imaging area (with the latest MRI equipment) and a physical therapy center, to a pain management area, an orthotic center and research laboratories, libraries and an educational center is all under one roof. All are designed for the comfort and convenience of patients, as well as for the most efficient, effective delivery of care.The site of our facility at 925 Chestnut Street was designed and built in 1934 as the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, which owned and occupied it exclusively for many years. The splendid, Neo- Classical white marble structure, with its formal gardens, fountain and ornamental ironwork, is considered one of the most architecturally notable buildings in Philadelphia.A prestigious national landmark, the historic building is recorded in the Federal Register Archives by the United States Department of the Interior, Library of Congress. We are extraordinarily proud to call this exemplary building the home of the Rothman Institute.
