Description
The Tree of Life ~ Since ancient times, trees have been revered because they lived longer than man, and because they were so necessary to the environment and the existence of life itself. Trees seemed to sustain all around them. They extended their limbs and welcomed visitors in friendship and goodwill. They nourished and rested all who came near. In this process they touched many lives. Thus the tree has become the symbol of Love, friendship and encouragement. I am not certain who I should be addressing this to, but some kind person who works there helped me send a tree of life necklace to a young Mother in South Carolina who was dying of cancer. She passed away last night but treasured the necklace you sent. It seemed the perfect opportunity to thank you for caring for someone who needed it. Please never stop making those beautiful necklaces. They are a symbol of what really matters. Nancy Wright My daughter gave me a gift of a "Tree of Life" SS necklace, with star, several years ago. Whenever I wear it, I feel she is with me. I've misplaced the storycard and wish to receive another one to replace it. Please advise me how I can get one. Your jewelry is very special. When I wear the necklace, I always think of my daughter and feel she is close to me. If I get upset, I just need to touch the tree and feel comforted. Amazing. Betty Probert It's impossible for me to think of the Tree of Life and not think of my mother. My mother is, to me and my entire family, the foundation from which we branched. I am one of seven girls, and when I consider the enormity of the task of raising all of us, it's almost too much to imagine. My mother is our Tree of Life. We are all branches of her, nurtured by everything she gave us. But my mother is more than simply the starting point for all of our families; she has established our roots on the most solid foundations from which a tree can grow. There is no threat - no crisis, no disease, and no season - strong enough to uproot or destroy us. Many mothers raise children and spend their entire lives seeking praise and appreciation for all of their sacrifices. But my mother raised us with the purest of intentions - because she wanted us to be good people, to be happy...to continue the tradition of love she started in us. And because of her, we are. To me, no more beautiful Tree of Life exists than the one my mother planted: my family. Pam Shoap Our mother owned the first Tree of Life necklace in our family. Our mother believed very strongly in family. She loved her Tree of Life necklace and wore it everyday. The reason the Tree of Life necklace has such a special meaning to our family. Our mother passed away on Jan. 15, 1994, our father decided that he wanted my two sisters and myself to have a Tree of Life necklace like our mom's. We decided we would continue the tradition by giving them to our girls in honor of our mother. Since then I have given my daughter one and my daughter-in-law one. My father has also given my two neices one. When my brother got married in August, he decided to give his wife one for her birthday. She has decided to follow our tradition by giving her daughter one.
