As pioneers in the oil and gas CCTV industry, our equipment has been developed through many years of field testing and application which has established Royal as the brand of choice for many operators throughout the U.S. We provide CCTV video systems for use in harsh conditions as well as hazardous/explosive gas environments. These systems can range from simple single camera top drive systems to more complex multi camera multi monitor/control station well site/platform camera systems.

Shane joined the Royal Service & Rentals, Inc. team in 2005. as a field CCTV service technician. Shane held the position of field technician for 6 years until being promoted to IP CCTV division manager where he now is in charge of new project builds, IP CCTV projects, and research and development of Royal’s CCTV products. Shane brings over 13 years of experience in the electronics field to Royal and the CCTV department. He considers himself a lifelong learner, and has received focused training in IP camera operation through Axis Communications, Avigilon and VMS DVR servers.

From its inception in 1982, Royal Service & Rentals, Inc. has led the oil and gas service industry in high quality, custom designed products and unparalleled customer service. From our home office in Broussard, Louisiana, in the heart of Acadiana, we were the first company to use Mesotech sonar for rig moves in the Gulf of Mexico and were pioneers in the use of underwater cameras for down-hole inspection.

Douglas holds an Associate’s degree in Industrial Electronics from the T.H. Harris campus of Acadiana Technical College in addition to an Electronics Technician certificate. Douglas began his career with Royal service & rentals, Inc. in 2001 as a field CCTV technician servicing both the land and offshore areas. After 5 years of field experience Douglas was transferred to the land CCTV field sales department where his responsibilities were to maintain present client relationships while expanding Royal’s market shares with new clients.
