Linda C. Sweeting is a civil trial attorney. Since 1985, the focus of her practice has been in the areas of serious and catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, automobile negligence, premises liability, medical malpractice, negligent security, and product liability claims. Ms. Sweeting is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, Florida. She is a member of the Florida Justice Association and is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Civil Circuit Court Mediator. She has been a member of the Florida Bar in good standing and admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida since 1985. She has also consistently received a 5.0 (A.V.) rating from Martindale-Hubbell® for more than a decade, the highest rating awarded and determined by her peers. Ms Sweeting served on the Judicial Nominating Procedures Committee of the Florida Bar for six (6) years. Her service included Diversity Training for Florida’s JNC Commissioners who nominate candidates for judicial appointment.

Graduating Magna Cum Laude, Ms. Armstrong earned her Juris Doctor in 2008 from the University of Miami School of Law, where she received the high honor of Order of the Coif. In addition, she was a member of the University of Miami Law Review and a Dean’s Merit Scholar. Ms. Armstrong received the C.A.L.I Excellence for the Future Award for Financial Accounting for Lawyers. Ms. Armstrong earned her Bachelor of Arts in English at the University of Colorado, where she graduated with distinction and was a member of the Golden Key Honor Society. While in school, she participated in a volunteer program at the Boulder County Jail designed to help rehabilitate inmates.
