Description

The Rural Gas Company has been providing prompt, reliable propane gas delivery , equipment sales , and service to Southwest Connecticut for over 60 years–spanning three generations of family ownership. While growing to support thousands of homes and businesses, we have retained the practices of a small-town family-owned company, providing courtesy, quality and value in everything we do. Our service and installation department is staffed by licensed, insured highly trained employees–not subcontractors.

Our technicians are regularly trained to keep up with the depth and breadth of propane equipment advances in the marketplace today. They are also trained to work cleanly and cordially with our customers, since they are literally the company’s face when working in your home. From your first call to customer service to goodbyes at your doorway, it is our business to make sure you are impressed enough to remain with our business for many years to come.

In a day that that is marked by impersonal means of customer service, it was refreshing to deal with a company that bought a bit of “Mayberry”. I contacted The Rural Gas Company regarding a time sensitive issue with a tank permit. Not only did you and you staff resolve the issue, it was resolved with a standard of excellence not often found in business today. Your company dealt with my problem with a sense of urgency and made me feel like I was the only customer that mattered. The Rural Gas Company far exceeded my expectations in customer service.
