This list is by no means all-inclusive or exhaustive. Any contractor or individual not working as employees of a licensed Michigan Residential Builder is required to have their own Residential Builder's License. You can check if an individual or a corporation is licensed by the State of Michigan to lawfully perform these vocations at the Department of Labor & Economic Growth's web site. You can also check to see if there have been any complaints filed against an individual or a company as well as any disciplinary actions taken.
