The S3 Group, Inc. is a project controls firm established fall 2013 in Nashville, Tennessee. The two founding partners, Donnell Bretherick and Steve Bertasso, identified the consistent need for a comprehensive project controls solution throughout their combined 35 years of experience in the public and private sectors of the construction industry. As colleagues, the duo always talked about starting an independent project controls firm. In early 2013, Bertasso and Bretherick began piecing together ideas and concepts for the organizational foundation.

Donnell Bretherick gained unmatched skills across the multiple platforms of engineering, project management, project controls, and scheduling throughout her more than 30 years of experience in the field.
