During a visit to Taiwan in the late 1980s, our client Design Ideas, Ltd. noted the popularity of screens used behind a car's windshield to keep the inside of the car from heating up while parked in the sun. These screens consisted of reinforced Bubblewrap® layered with a bright plastic coating that reflected the sun's rays. Our client thought that the screens were attractive, and invented the notion of designing mailing envelopes out of the same material. The result was BUBBLOPE®, a signature product for our client.
