We do guarantee our footwear from manufacturer defects within a reasonable amount of time and wear. Normal or abnormal wear and tear is not considered a manufacturer defect. While we use the highest quality leather and other materials available, all materials break down over time, whether worn or not.

SAS works closely with its dealers to ensure customer satisfaction. An authorized SAS dealer will be able to provide assistance should you have a concern with your footwear purchase. We feel our customers deserve the personal attention that only a knowledgeable shoe fitter can provide. Since our feet tend to change in shape and size as we get older, we recommend having your feet measured every time you purchase new shoes. SAS stands for San Antonio Shoemakers. Some people like to spell it out (S-A-S), while others prefer to say SAS (sass). Our company name may be pronounced either way you prefer. How our customers say our name is not as important to us as how they enjoy the comfort of our shoes.

Last Making This is called “last.” It’s a plastic model that’s made out of polypropylene. At SAS, we make our own lasts to offer our unique foot-shaped comfort in all the widths and sizes our customers need – 88 sizes for women and 104 for men.
