For over 40 years, S.A. Day has been supplying world-wide manufacturers of radiators, heater cores, condensers, evaporators and oil coolers with quality custom fluxes: brass, copper and aluminum. Our company grew by providing flux for soldering brass to copper by developing bromide based fluxes. As the heat transfer market changed to aluminum, we developed non-corrosive aluminum brazing fluxes. The S.A. Day Buffalo Flux Facility, Johnson Mfg. Co. is a world-renowned manufacturer of soldering flux for copper/brass heat exchangers as well as soldering and brazing flux for aluminum heat exchangers. Our Management System is registered to ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 14001:2004 standards, showing our commitment to quality while being ever mindful of the environment. The company was founded in 1912 in Buffalo, NY and was initially involved in the production of buffing compound and polishing wheels. In November 2007, Johnson Mfg. Co. of Princeton, IA acquired the flux manufacturing assets of S.A.
