Friday, December 18, 2009 1:22 PM Guilford County Schools’ administrative offices and departments will close Dec. 18 at 1:30 p.m. due to inclement weather. Offices will re-open Monday, Dec. 21 at 8 a.m. Only personnel designated as essential in maintaining district operations will remain on-the-job this afternoon. All schools in the district dismissed three hours early today. All after-school and evening activities, including ACES and athletics, were canceled. Schools that started after 10:30 a.m. were closed. GCS employees should contact their supervisors for more information and refer to Board policy AFC and AFC-P .
