We provide unpaid internship opportunities for college students who are interested in learning more about supportive services for victims of domestic violence. We make every effort to match the students’ needs to our current needs for internship assistance. Internships are available throughout the year.

Emergency Shelter - The Safe House operates a 24-hour emergency shelter for women and their dependents who are victims of domestic violence. Our shelter can accommodate 16-22 women and children at any time. It is a communal living environment with a living room, kitchen, laundry facilities, outside play area and 5 bedrooms. Our location is confidential and secure. We provide residents with all of the items necessary to sustain everyday life while they reside in the shelter such as personal care items, linens and food.
