Dog Park Rules and Policy Dogs must be accompanied at all times No more than two dogs per person are allowed at one time Children are only permitted in the dog park when accompanied by a guardian Owners are responsible for picking up after their dog All dogs must wear proof of license and have proper vaccinations Dogs in heat are not permitted in the park Dogs exhibiting bad or aggressive behavior will be required to leave the park San Jose Code 13.44.020 Butcher Dog Parkis located in Butcher Park at Camden Ave. & Lancaster Dr, on the Camden Street side. Delmas Dog Parklocated on the corner of Park Avenue & Delmas Avenue, is a free-standing park. The park measures just over 17,000 square feet and includes many dog-friendly amenities: a completely fenced and double-gated entrance, decomposed granite walking path with bark-mulch dog area, tables and benches, drinking fountains with dog bowls, plenty of security lighting, and mutt mitts. Delmas was a joint venture between the City of San José and the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA); it offers a safe space for the neighborhood and its four-legged residents.
