Established in 1980, SMC Data Systems is celebrating its 25th anniversary. We pride ourselves on our high level of customer satisfaction and in being the trusted advisor to our clients. As head of a technology company ahead of the curve, Dani Kaplan, President, was invited to attend an IBM roundtable seminar in 1985 representing the Mid-Atlantic States. High level IBM executives attended the seminar and the topics discussed were Distribution Industry trends and technology needs. As a result of this round table seminar, the next version of the IBM Distribution software was improved to better meet the needs of the Distribution Industry.
