Wilson & Co. performed above my expectations and demonstrated their 'ownership' in our project."In 1921, my grandfather, Shouse McGarvey Wilson founded this company in Granite City, Illinois, based on culture and tradition. One tradition started by my grandfather, more than 85 years ago, was to regard our company, customers and suppliers as a large extended family and to treat everyone with consideration and respect. The idea of building a business around trusting long-term relationships and keeping them together like you keep a family together might seem strange to others, but it worked fine for my Grandfather. And my father trusted it to keep the company strong through the good and not so good times. Today, I am following in those same footsteps. Our philosophy of treating clients like family has proven successful. Today, more than 80% of our business comes from repeat business and is a direct result of the way we respond to the needs of our clients.S. M. Wilson has a distinct corporate culture that can be sensed in how our employees feel about working here. They never give less then their best. Currently, S. M. Wilson & Co. has more than 200 full-time employees. Our staff puts in plenty of hours and does whatever it takes to complete a job with the highest standards, on time and within budget. That kind of loyalty cannot be bought with good salaries, but happens naturally through a fun, interactive work environment. There is a light hearted ambiance at S. M. Wilson.
