Description

Speech Pathology & Educational Center is a continual story of success in diagnosing and treating speech and language disorders, developmental gross and fine motor delays and educational challenges since 1979. Our family consists of certified, licensed professionals, experienced speech-language pathologists and speech-language pathology assistants, registered occupational therapists, certified teachers and counselors trained to provide the highest level of service for each child. All our staff is bilingual, licensed and certified in their area of expertise. Here are some of the great services SPEC can provide for you! Bilingual evaluation and treatment to children and adults with a multitude of communication disorders. Hearing, vision and speech/language screenings and subsequent follow-up treatment for many daycares, along with private and charter schools. Educational programs for children with speech and language disorders, as well as reading programs for elementary and middle school children. Simple Study Skills program for 3-8 grade students, provided at S.P.E.C. or many community centers and after school programs. For the past 18 years S.P.E.C. has been committed and determined to help the children of our community to get the help they need for a bright future.
