SRC Computers, LLC was founded in 1996 by the legendary computer architect Seymour R. Cray. The Company name originates from the initials of Seymour's name. He founded the Company with a core team of dedicated senior engineers from Cray Research to continue the legacy of innovation. The Company’s mission was to provide an affordable, high performance computer that targeted traditional supercomputing customers, primarily those who used scientific and engineering applications.
